Just received a bunch of red notification dots on my phone: the testnet points have been updated again… I realize I’m starting to get obsessed, treating it as “something that will be redeemed in the future,” which is dangerous.

Now I also set a stop-loss for the testnet: at most two days per chain, if on the third day it’s still stuck on faucet/bridge/wallet pop-ups going in circles, I’ll just close it; a maximum of 30 minutes per day, if exceeded it means I’m betting on expectations rather than practicing. To put it plainly, the testnet should be about practicing processes, batch operations, and recording, not about making wishes.

Recently, developers are especially excited talking about modularization and DA layers, but users (me) are often completely confused. The more the project emphasizes storytelling, the more I focus on: whether there are clear tasks, whether there are reproducible steps, and whether anyone has identified pitfalls. Anyway, I’d rather miss out than be dragged along by “points anxiety.” That’s all for now.
