First Direct Access to HK Stocks on Gate

Gate Stock direct officially launches Hong Kong stock trading, offering one-stop access to popular stocks in the Hong Kong market. Complete your first Hong Kong stock trade to claim Tencent stock. Additionally, the Value Investment Plan, Trading Challenge, and Top Gainer Prediction are now live, giving away rewards including Meituan, BYD, and Xiaomi stocks to help you easily begin your Hong Kong stock investment journey.

How to Trade Hong Kong Stocks on Gate:

Step 1: Update Gate App

Update Gate App to version 8.23.5 and above

Step 2: Access Stocks

Go to the stock page via the TradFi category, the Markets section, or search, then select a Hong Kong stock (codes ending in .HK).

Step 3: Transfer Funds

Transfer USDT from your Spot or Unified account to your Stock account

Step 4: Place an Intraday Order

During Hong Kong stock market trading hours (01:30–04:00 and 05:00–08:00, UTC), select the underlying asset and submit an order to complete the trade. New orders cannot be placed during the lunch break or after market close.

Event 1: Hong Kong Stock Welcome Gift, Get Tencent Stock on Your First Trade

During the event, new users who complete their first Hong Kong stock spot trade will receive 0.2 shares of Tencent Holdings stock (approximately equivalent to 12 USDT), limited to the first 5,000 eligible users.


First Launch Lucky Bonus: If the first trade amount in Hong Kong stocks is ≥ $500, 500 lucky users will be randomly selected from eligible participants, each receiving an additional 1 share of Tencent Holdings stock (approximately equivalent to 57 USDT).

Event 2: Value Investment Plan, Hold to Share 2,000 Meituan Shares

During the event, users holding any Hong Kong-listed stocks will have random snapshots of their holdings taken daily. Based on the average daily holding value during the event period, participants will share a prize pool of 2,000 shares of Meituan-W stock, with each user eligible to receive up to 60 shares of Meituan stock in total.

Reward Description: Users who reach a higher holding tier can also participate in all lower-tier prize pools, and rewards are cumulative.
Event 3: Trading Challenge, Share 5,000 BYD Shares

During the event period, users who participate in Hong Kong stock spot trading will share 5,000 BYD shares proportionally based on their cumulative trading volume, with a maximum of 80 BYD shares per user.

Reward Description: Users who reach higher trading volume tiers can also participate in all lower-tier prize pools, and rewards are cumulative.
Event 4: Top Gainer Prediction, Win 6,000 Xiaomi Shares

Users who register for this event may select one of the following Hong Kong stocks to participate in the prediction challenge. The stock with the highest cumulative percentage gain during the event period will be crowned the [Top Gainer]. Users who submit the questionnaire by June 20, 2026, 16:00 (UTC) will be deemed to have successfully participated in the prediction challenge (each user may submit only once). Submissions will not be accepted after the deadline:

  •  Tencent Holdings
  • Xiaomi Corporation-W
  • Meituan-W
  • BYD Company
  • Alibaba-W
  • SMIC


After the event ends, users who predicted correctly and completed any Hong Kong stock trade will be randomly selected:

  • 2,000 users each receive 1 share of Xiaomi stock (approximately equivalent to 3.5 USDT)
  • 8,000 users each receive 0.5 shares of Xiaomi stock (approximately equivalent to 1.75 USDT).

Notes

  1. Participants must click the [Join Now] button on the event page to complete registration, and complete identity verification to qualify for rewards.
  2. Trading Volume = Buy Volume + Sell Volume. The trading volume and holding amount requirements in this campaign are displayed in USDT terms. As actual Hong Kong stock transactions are subject to exchange rate conversion relative to the campaign display metric, please take exchange rate fluctuations into account and maintain an appropriate buffer in your trading volume or holdings to ensure the eligibility requirements are met.
  3. The stock rewards for Tencent, Meituan, BYD, and Xiaomi in this event will be distributed as physical stock shares. The [equivalent USDT] amounts shown on the event page and in the plan are calculated based on the stock market prices at the time the plan was created. Due to real-time fluctuations in the stock market, the actual asset value at the time of reward distribution may differ from the equivalent amount displayed on the page. Please refer to the actual number of stock shares received and their real-time value upon crediting to your account. All rewards will be distributed to user accounts within 14 business days after the event ends.
  4. Bulk account registration, malicious volume manipulation, self-trading, wash trading, and other fraudulent activities are strictly prohibited. Multiple accounts under the same verified user will be treated as a single account. Sub-accounts are not eligible to participate.
  5. Market makers, corporations, and institutions are not eligible to participate in this event.
  6. If there are any discrepancies between the translated version and the English version, the English version shall prevail.
  7. Gate reserves the right of final interpretation for this event.
