I actually entered crypto the same way most people did, in 2021. I was looking for big opportunities, looking at one minute candles, and making a lot of rookie mistakes. That was when I registered on Bitget as a regular trader. I was obsessed with Futures trading early on and learned the hard way that max leverage with no strict risk management plan is just a fast track to getting wrecked.

I mean, those first few days were an emotional roller coaster. Finally I realised I had to stop thinking of it as a casino. I started to size my positions properly respecting my stop losses and stopped trying to force fast profits out of every single move. I spent a lot of time in the Copy Trading section too. I was doing this not just to mirror trades but actually to learn how the pros survived heavy volatility and managed their drawdowns without panicking.
Then arrived the 2022 bear market. So after the crashes killed the hype, I really needed to change my approach. I really cut back on high risk trades and started looking for safer ways to stay in the game. I remember the 'Make It Count' campaign during the World Cup season being such a big bright spot for the community when the market itself was pretty tough.
That was a quiet spell when I really got to the rest of the platform. I didn't trade every day, but I parked my idle assets in flexible Earn products to keep things moving. I got very involved in the Launchpool and Launchpad events. Staking became the norm for projects like COMMON, APR, TREAT and ERA. Truthfully, not all of them were a huge success. Some were just OK, but that was the point, the consistency. Added Deposit to List and CandyBomb campaigns. Figured out a rhythm to find new projects without taking unnecessary chart risk.
But the real game changer was in 2024 when I joined the Bitget Builder program. That meant everything to me. I went from being a solo trader in my own world to being a KOL guy and creating digital content and actually talking to other builders and users around the world. It wasn’t about my own portfolio anymore, it was about the community.
Crypto has taught me that the space is about a lot more than green PnL. A stern taskmaster of discipline. Even now, as I test out the GetClaw agent in the ongoing AI strategy trading competitions, or just analyze new staking models, I realize that I am looking at the market through a whole different lens than I did back then. It’s been a long crazy ride since those first trades. Still here. Learning in every cycle. Still. 🚀
