Golden Finance reported that the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission will launch a new online application and submission system called e-IP on July 29, specifically designed for investment products managed by the Investment Products Division. e-IP is developed based on the existing WINGS electronic service platform, which is a one-stop online platform designed for e-IP users to submit new product approval applications and post-approval registration applications or submit materials and documents, track application progress, organize investment product information files, and settle related fees. After the new system is launched, the industry can submit new product recognition applications and applications or submit materials and documents for recognition/registration through e-IP. At that time, the existing application and regulatory document submission channels will run in parallel with e-IP for three months until October 29, 2024, to allow market participants to become familiar with the new system.
