Gate Technology Ltd Achieves PCI DSS v4.0.1 Level 1 Compliance, Strengthening Payment Security in Europe

Gate Technology Ltd (hereinafter also referred to for simplicity as "Gate"), has completed a PCI DSS v4.0.1 Level 1 compliance assessment and obtained the corresponding Attestation of Compliance (AOC). The assessment covers Gate Connect, Gate Card, and related supporting systems, providing independent validation of the payment card data security controls within the assessed scope and strengthening the security foundation for Gate's payment services in Europe.

PCI DSS, or the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, establishes technical and operational requirements for organizations that process, store, or transmit cardholder data. The standard covers key areas including data protection, access control, system monitoring, security testing, and ongoing security management. Completing the Level 1 assessment means that the applicable payment card data security controls within the assessed scope have undergone independent review and received corresponding compliance validation.

For European users, payment card data protection is an important part of a secure payment experience. The assessment provides independent validation of controls covering areas such as data protection, access management, system monitoring, and security management, helping mitigate the risks of unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse of payment card information.

The AOC also provides verifiable compliance documentation to support security due diligence by European banks, payment service providers, and other partners. By identifying the assessed entity, service scope, and applicable compliance status, the documentation provides a common basis for evaluating payment security controls. It supports Gate's ongoing payment partnerships and business development in Europe.
