Gate Europe Introduces USDT Migration Solution with One-Way Conversion to USDC

Gate Europe has introduced a USDT migration solution for existing and new users, providing a seamless path for eligible EEA users to transition their USDT assets under the evolving MiCA regulatory framework.

With this update, users can deposit USDT into Gate Europe and convert it to USDC through a one-way conversion feature. Please note that this conversion is one-way and cannot be reversed. Users may also withdraw USDT to an external wallet. Please note that USDT is not MiCA-compliant and can no longer be traded on Gate Europe. This service does not provide any USDT trading functionality. USDT cannot be used for spot trading, staking, or any other investment products on Gate Europe.

The one-way USDT to USDC conversion feature is designed to help new and existing users migrate their assets smoothly while maintaining full compliance with MiCA requirements. The conversion experience is simple and accessible, with zero conversion fees. After conversion, USDC will be credited to the user's account and can be used across supported Gate Europe trading services.

By supporting USDT deposits, one-way conversion to USDC, and USDT withdrawals, Gate Europe aims to help users maintain access to their assets while providing, transparent, and MiCA-compliant digital asset services for European users. This feature is available on Web and the latest version of the Gate Europe App. Users are advised to update their App to the latest version to access the service.
