Two-year gilt yields dropped 8.6 basis points to 4.801%, while 30-year gilts fell 0.4 basis points to 5.945% and briefly touched 6.021%, marking the first break above the 6% psychological level since Q1 1998. The 2/10-year gilt spread widened 5.779 basis points to +59.429 basis points.
