Unitree Robotics Develops Humanoid Coding System

According to South China Morning Post, on October 22, Unitree Robotics announced development of Unitree Rehearsal, a system enabling humanoid robots to write code and improve performance with minimal manual programming.

The system searches research papers, writes code, tests it in simulations, and runs trials on physical robots. Founder Wang Xingxing stated at the company's physical AI conference that humans would still assess performance and provide feedback as Unitree advances toward more automated development. The company currently markets humanoid robots including the G1 model.
