GPT-5.6 Sol 1M Token Context Now Available to ChatGPT Account Users

According to OpenAI Codex lead Tibo Sottiaux, ChatGPT account users can now manually set the context window for GPT-5.6 Sol to 1 million tokens. Previously, this configuration was limited to API Key users only. The 1 million tokens refer to the context budget allocated by Codex to the model, not an expansion of GPT-5.6 Sol itself.
