According to Ledger's CTO Charles Guillemet, the company patched a transaction-replacement vulnerability in its Ethereum app version 1.22.2 on August 13, before rival wallet maker OneKey published a lab test reproducing the flaw in the outdated version 1.22.1 on Thursday. The vulnerability, a race condition between transaction display logic and the transaction buffer, could allow an attacker who controlled communications between a device and host to display one transaction while signing another.
