Citi Downgrades Long-Term Dollar-Won Forecast to 1,250 Won on October 1
According to Citi's chief economist at Citi Korea Bank Kim Jin-wook on October 1, the bank has downgraded its long-term dollar-won exchange rate forecast from 1,400 won to 1,250 won. The adjustment reflects expectations that South Korea's structural current account surplus will drive sustained won appreciation over 2026–2028.
