Gate US is pleased to announce the launch of Gate Card, a new payment card developed in collaboration with Visa, Stripe, and Bridge, enabling eligible U.S. users to spend supported stablecoins seamlessly across Visa's global merchant network.

Issued by Lead Bank, Member FDIC, under a Visa license, Gate Card represents another step toward connecting digital assets with everyday payments. FDIC coverage applies only to funds held at Lead Bank in connection with card issuance and does not extend to stablecoin or other digital asset balances. Through Bridge’s stablecoin infrastructure, supported stablecoins such as USDC are automatically converted during payment, allowing users to make purchases in a manner similar to using a traditional debit card.

Enabling Everyday Spending with Stablecoins

Gate Card is available to eligible U.S. individual users who have completed identity verification and account onboarding. Users can fund eligible purchases with supported stablecoins, including USDC, while payments are accepted anywhere Visa is supported worldwide. Stablecoin conversion and settlement are automatically handled through Bridge’s stablecoin infrastructure, allowing users to make purchases just as they would with a traditional debit card.

Available as Both Virtual and Physical Cards

Gate Card is offered in both virtual and physical formats to accommodate a wide range of payment scenarios.

The virtual card is available immediately upon activation and supports Apple Pay and Google Wallet, enabling contactless in-store purchases, online shopping, and in-app payments through smartphones and wearable devices. The physical card supports chip payments, NFC contactless transactions, and ATM cash withdrawals. Gate Card can be used across retail, dining, transportation, e-commerce, subscription services, and other everyday spending scenarios.

Eligible purchases also earn reward points, which can be redeemed for USDT directly within the Gate US app.

A Collaborative Payment Ecosystem

The partnership combines the strengths of leading companies across digital assets and global payments.

Gate US is responsible for customer onboarding, compliance, risk management, and transaction monitoring. Visa provides the global payment network and merchant acceptance infrastructure. Stripe and Bridge deliver the underlying stablecoin infrastructure and settlement capabilities. Together, the four parties establish a compliant payment ecosystem connecting digital assets with the traditional financial system.

The launch of Gate Card marks another milestone in bringing stablecoins into real-world payment scenarios. Looking ahead, Gate US will continue working with Visa, Stripe, and other strategic partners to further explore innovation across digital payments, cross-border finance, and next-generation financial services, helping accelerate the adoption of digital assets in everyday commerce.
