Gate to Launch Futures Points System Exclusive Growth Benefits for Futures Users

To reward our valued futures trading users, we are excited to launch the Gate Futures Points System. The system will officially go live and start calculating futures points on October 14, 2025, at 8:00 (UTC). Futures points are exclusive entitlement certificates for your participation in futures trading and can be redeemed on the Points page for tokens, position vouchers, trial funds , and more.

1.What are Futures Points?

Definition : Futures Points are entitlement points for futures users, used for redeeming tokens, position vouchers, trial funds , and other rewards (subject to the available options on the platform).

2.How to earn points?

Points can be earned through the following methods, calculated daily and credited to accounts the next day (subject to the system time and page display):
a.Futures Trading Points

• Calculated based on the day's valid futures trading volume ;
• Issued according to the corresponding tier;
• Both opening and closing trades are included.
• The higher your futures trading volume, the more points you earn. The system starts with 1 point for every 400 USDT of trading volume. The trading volume and corresponding points are detailed in the table below. There is no daily cap on the number of points that can be acquired.

b.A daily snapshot of the USDT and BTC balances in your futures account (calculated based on their USD value) will be taken. For Unified Account (Single-Currency Margin, Multi-Currency Margin, or Portfolio Margin modes), a snapshot of your USDT and BTC spot balance is taken to determine the asset value. Fixed points will be awarded based on the corresponding balance range.

Note: Simple Earn funds are under the Earn Account and will not be included in the snapshot statistics.

• $100 ≤ Balance < $1,000, 1 point/day
• $1,000 ≤ Balance < $10,000, 2 points/day
• $10,000 ≤ Balance < $100,000, 3 points/day
• Balance ≥ $100,000, 4 points/day

c.Referral Points

• Invite a new user to join the event: 1 point
• Invite two new users to participate in the event: 2 points
• Invite three or more new users to participate in the event: 3 points

An invitation is considered successful if the invitee earns at least 2 points.
Note: Futures trading points, balance points, and referral points are calculated independently and then combined into the total points for the day.

3.How to use points?

• Redemption and deduction : Points can be used on the Points page to redeem tokens, position vouchers, trial funds , and more (available items and rules are subject to the platform's page).
• Credit and consumption : Points are credited to your account instantly and can be used immediately; they are deducted in real-time upon use.

4.Validity Period & Expiration Rules

• Daily accrual : Points eligible for accrual on a given day will be calculated as pending points and distributed uniformly.
• Validity period : Futures points are valid for 15 days starting from the issuance date . They will expire automatically after this period and cannot be recovered once expired .
• Priority deduction : When using futures points, the system will by default deduct points from the earliest expiring batch first.

Example : If you receive 10 futures points on October 14, these points will be valid for 15 days from issuance. If not used within this period, they will expire automatically (subject to the system time and page display).

5.Notes

1. If the daily trading volume is below 400 USDT or the position value is below 100 USDT, no futures points will be awarded through any of the methods.
2. Futures trading volume does not include data from Copy and Bot trading.
3. Futures points and Alpha points are independent reward systems; their point-earning methods and reward distribution rules are not related.
4. This event is not open to market makers, enterprises and institutions.
5. Users need to trade perpetual futures to be eligible. Valid Trading Volume = Buy Volume + Sell Volume.
6. Subaccount and API trading volume are not counted; subaccounts are excluded from event registration.
7. Only platform-verified valid real trades and positions are counted; self-trading, wash trading, matched orders, stablecoin pair trading, and other abnormal activities will not be counted or may be reversed.
8. Any delay or adjustment in point issuance due to system maintenance, risk control checks, or other reasons shall be subject to the platform's final decision.
9. Points are platform entitlement tools and do not constitute cash, tokens, or any form of financial assets; they are non-transferable, non-tradable, and cannot be bought or sold over-the-counter .
10. Gate reserves the right to adjust the points rules, usage scenarios, validity periods, and related terms. Changes will be announced via announcements or page updates.
11. For details on the specific redeemable items, deduction rates, and operation procedures, please refer to the information displayed on the event page.
