Gate Announces the Renaming of Pixelmon (MON) to Pixelmon (MONPRO)

Gate will rename Pixelmon (MON) to Pixelmon (MONPRO).As part of this process, deposits, withdrawals, and trading services for Pixelmon (MON) including the MON/USDT spot trading pair and quantitative grid trading, will be suspended starting at October 10, 2025, at 10:00 (UTC).

Gate's implementation steps:

1. Gate has disabled new leveraged lending and collateral lending for Pixelmon (MON).
2. At 10:00 (UTC) on October 10, 2025, Gate will suspend the deposit, withdrawal and trading services for MON, including the MON_USDT spot trading pair, quantitative grid trading, Simple Earn, and margin trading.
3. For users with active quantitative trading strategies involving MON, please adjust strategies in advance. All active strategies will be forcibly terminated before 10:00 (UTC) on October 10, 2025.
4. For users holding MON in Simple Earn, please manually redeem your assets in advance, or they will be automatically redeemed before 10:00 (UTC) on October 10, 2025.
5. For users with outstanding Pixelmon (MON) margin loans, please repay your loans in advance. Otherwise, the loans will be automatically settled by 10:00 (UTC) on October 10, 2025.

This change only involves a token ticker update and does not include any blockchain swap or migration. Gate users are not required to take any additional actions. Your assets will remain secure. Once the renaming is complete, the token will be re-evaluated and re-listed under the new ticker. Please stay tuned for further announcements.
