Gate Will Launch GUSD Minting, along with GUSD Spot Listing, Unified Account Margin, Simple Earn, and Launchpool

Gate is launching a new financial product — GUSD. Backed by U.S. Treasury bonds and other Real World Assets (RWA), GUSD offers users a low-risk, stable-yield investment channel. As a bridge connecting traditional finance with the digital asset world, Gate will leverage GUSD to bring the benefits of blockchain technology to real-world assets, offering users more diverse wealth management choices.

The first phase of the program includes GUSD Minting, GUSD Spot Trading, GUSD for Launchpool, Unified Account Margin, Unified Account Lending, Crypto Loan and Simple Earn. The first Launchpool with GUSD as the staking pool will go live on Aug 29, 2025, with an estimated APR of up to 365%. Gate has already listed the following trading pairs: GUSD/USDT, BTC/GUSD, ETH/GUSD, BNB/GUSD, SOL/GUSD, XRP/GUSD, TRX/GUSD, HYPER/GUSD, and ADA/GUSD. Launchpool

Gate Launchpool will officially provide the first GUSD staking pool, alongside with the 304th project: CeluvPlay (CELB). Users who stake GUSD can share 6,428,572 CELB tokens for free, with airdrop rewards distributed hourly. Estimated APR is as high as 365%.

GUSD Minting
Launch Time: Aug 18, 2025 (UTC)
How to Mint: Users can mint GUSD by converting their USDT or USDC on Gate's "Staking" page. The system will convert them into GUSD certificates at a 1:1 ratio. While holding GUSD, users will begin earning yields immediately, at an initial APR of 4.40%. Yields are primarily generated by interest from the underlying assets (e.g., U.S. Treasuries) and a portion of Gate ecosystem revenue, and are paid automatically into the user's spot account to compound profits.
