Hot and Cold Wallet Storage Solution

The majority of assets are held in cold wallets, while a small proportion is maintained in hot wallets to facilitate fast withdrawals.

Real-Time Asset Sending & Receiving Technology

Gate Technology FZE (“Gate”) is licensed by the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (“VARA”) (License No.: VL/25/04/007) to undertake ‘Exchange Services’ (i.e., matching orders between buyers and sellers and conducting an exchange, trade or conversion between (i) virtual assets and fiat currency or (ii) one or more virtual assets, and maintaining an order book in furtherance of such service). Gate’s VASP licence was issued on 25 April 2025, and remains valid subject to the payment of an annual supervision fee due on 25 April annually.

Gate is permitted to serve retail investors, qualified investors, and institutional investors, limited to offering VA spot trading only.

Gate’s VASP licence is subject to Gate’s continued compliance with all the following conditions in addition to any further regulatory requirements determined by VARA in its sole and absolute discretion:

1. Gate shall maintain Paid-Up Capital of AED 1.6 million which may be adjusted from time to time in accordance with applicable requirements;

2. Gate shall maintain an adequate and dedicated office space in Dubai and maintain sufficient controls to safeguard security and confidentaility and prevent conflicts of interest;

3. Gate shall ensure compliance with VARA's rulebooks and requirements in relation to public disclosure and website requirements.
