It is pegged 1:1 to the U.S. dollar and is fully backed by reserves consisting of U.S. dollar deposits, U.S. Treasury securities, and cash equivalents. Leveraging Western Union's global payment network and decades of experience in cross-border remittance services, USDPT aims to bridge traditional finance and the blockchain ecosystem, offering a more accessible way for global users to use digital dollars.
