Franklin Templeton has been approved to launch Singapore's first retail investor tokenization fund.

According to Gate.io News bot, Wu Shuo reported that Franklin Templeton has received approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to launch the Franklin on-chain US Dollar Short-Term Money Market Fund. This is Singapore's first tokenized fund product aimed at retail investors.

The fund is issued through Franklin Templeton's blockchain transfer platform, with a minimum investment amount of $20 for investors. The current cryptocurrency adoption rate in Singapore has reached 11.05%, and a regulatory framework for digital assets has been established, with several traditional financial institutions advancing tokenization product businesses in this market.
