This guide will walk you through how to complete a token swap using the Gate Web3 extension or web version.

Steps

Extension Workflow

Step 1: Access the Swap Page

1. Open the Gate Web3 wallet extension
2. On the homepage, click the Swap button

Step 2: Set Swap Parameters

1. On the swap page, select the type of token you want to swap
2. Choose the network for the token
3. Enter the amount to swap
4. Click the Swap button

Step 3: Confirm and Complete the Swap

1. Carefully review the swap details (token type, amount, exchange rate, etc.)
2. Click Confirm Swap
3. Wait for the transaction to complete

Once the operation is complete, you can check the progress and swap history for this order on the History page.

Web Version Workflow

Step 1: Connect Your Wallet

1. Visit the Gate Web3 web version
2. Click the Connect Wallet button in the pop-up window
3. Choose a connection method:
   • If you have the Gate Web3 wallet extension installed, connect directly
   • If the extension is not installed, click the link to install it
   • Alternatively, click Other Wallets to connect using a different wallet
