Ripple is preparing for a $600 million event: Please note the Token unlock!
Ripple releases 1 billion Tokens on the 1st of each month.
If $600 million worth of XRP is released into the network in August.
However, the important Token unlocking event is becoming a hot topic.
Since 2017, up to 1 billion Tokens are unlocked on the first day of each month. In order to distribute these unlocks evenly, XRP uses several major Wallets, including XRP (24) and XRP (25). The maximum number of XRPTokens unlocked at the beginning of each month can reach up to 1 billion, but due to re-deposited transactions, the actual amount of XRP in circulation may be much lower than this number.
