Golden Finance reports that on April 6, according to people familiar with the matter, the final proposal for a U.S.-Iran ceasefire deal includes Iran giving up nuclear weapons in exchange for the lifting of sanctions and the release of frozen assets. The plan to reach agreement on ending hostilities in the Middle East must be finalized by Monday. If an agreement is reached, the plan will prompt an immediate ceasefire, reopen the Strait of Hormuz, and reach a final agreement within 15 to 20 days. Pakistan’s Army Chief of Staff spoke by phone, respectively, with U.S. Vice President Vance, Special Envoy Vytkov, and Iran’s Foreign Minister Aragchi. Iran and the United States have received the plan to end hostilities; the plan is a two-stage agreement: first to achieve a ceasefire, then to reach a final agreement.
