Golden Finance reports that on April 4, local time, the commander of Iran’s Air Defense Joint Command, Ali Reza Elhami, said that on April 4, while inspecting Iran’s Army and defensive positions of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Iran has used newly developed methods and equipment developed independently and “is ready to ambush the enemy’s fifth-generation fighter jets and advanced unmanned aerial vehicles.” He said that in the battles prior to this, Iran’s air defense forces successfully shot down several of the enemy’s advanced fighter jets, as well as more than 160 drones, including “MQ-9,” “Hermes,” “Lucas,” and other drones of joint U.S.-Israeli infiltration, and dozens of cruise missiles. Before the enemy launched its offensive actions, they took “timely and precise” measures. (CCTV News)
