Iran: Non-aggressor ships may coordinate passage

Golden Finance reports that on April 2, Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Bagaei said on the 2nd that the reason Iran has decided to take specific measures regarding vessels’ passage is simple because Iran needs to ensure that the aggressors and their ships will not abuse this waterway to launch military aggression against Iran. This is based on international law. He also said that those ships that are not the aggressors, are not associated with them, and do not support their acts of aggression against Iran will be allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz after the necessary coordination with Iran’s authorities.
