Golden Finance reports that on March 31, according to the AXIOS website, Ukrainian President Zelensky said Monday that Iran’s prolonged war is very beneficial for Russia but very detrimental for Ukraine. Zelensky stated that Russia’s oil-dependent economy is receiving a significant boost due to soaring oil prices and the easing of U.S. sanctions, and that this conflict could lead to shortages of air-defense intercept missiles and other weapons urgently needed by Ukraine. Zelensky also said that Ukraine has shared intelligence with leaders in the Middle East regarding Russia’s assistance to Iran, including potential target-locating support for attacks against U.S. forces and allied bases in the region.
