Gold Finance reported that Alphabet, the parent company of Google, recorded a revenue of $88.27 billion in the third quarter, surpassing analysts' expectations of $86.45 billion. Earnings per share for the third quarter were $2.12, higher than the analyst forecast of $1.84. Google Cloud's revenue in the third quarter was $11.35 billion, exceeding analysts' expectations of $10.79 billion. Google's advertising revenue for the fourth quarter is expected to reach $65.85 billion, slightly higher than the analyst forecast of $65.5 billion. YouTube's advertising revenue for the third quarter was $8.92 billion, slightly higher than the analyst forecast of $8.89 billion. Other business revenue for the third quarter was $388 million, slightly higher than the analyst forecast of $377.9 million. Operating profit for the third quarter was $28.52 billion, exceeding analysts' expectations of $26.67 billion. Revenue excluding traffic acquisition costs for the third quarter was $74.55 billion, surpassing analysts' expectations of $72.88 billion.
