Gate Charity Launches "Ocean Protection NFT" (Malaysia) to Support Marine Ecological Preservation

Gate Charity, the global non-profit philanthropic organization of Gate Group, recently partnered with a local diving center in Sabah, Malaysia, for a “Protect the Ocean” themed event aimed at marine ecological preservation. During the event, led by experienced instructors, participants delved into the marine life and ecological challenges of the area, embarking on multiple dives to document the beauty of the underwater world. Subsequently, each piece of photograph taken was later minted onto the blockchain as NFT.

Gate Charity has again teamed up with Gate NFT, Gate.io’s NFT launchpad and marketplace, to transform these unique photographs of the Sabah Ocean life taken by event participants and local environmentalists, into a charitable NFT collection named “Ocean Protection NFT ( Malaysia)”. All funds generated from sales will be used to deepen people’s understanding of the detrimental effects of human-induced pollution on the deep-sea eco, and to ignite a passion for marine ecology preservation.

Ocean Protection NFT ( Malaysia ) collection will feature 15 unique photographs of the Sabah Ocean life taken by event participants and local environmentalists during their “Protect the Ocean” themed diving event. This collection has 300 NFTs available to mint. Users can purchase the NFTs on Gate.io for $10 USDT, with all the proceeds from subsequent sales donated to support marine ecological preservation in Malaysia.
