Gate Charity Launches Gate Charity x Upcycle Artist JR Ocean Protection NFT (Philippines) to Promote Environmental Awareness

Gate Charity, the global non-profit philanthropic organization of Gate Group, recently united with a local environmentalist and artist Pedro Angco Jr., known as JR, in Bacalon, Philippines, on July 10th to promote environmental protection and conservation. As part of the event, Gate Charity converted these unique arts created by JR who collects, transforms, and repurposes ocean-borne garbage into NFTs, with all proceeds from the NFT auctions used to encourage society to rethink our approach to trash and recyclables.

Gate Charity has again teamed up with Gate NFT, Gate.io’s NFT launchpad and marketplace, to transform these unique arts created by Filipino local environmentalists and artist Pedro Angco Jr. into a charitable NFT collection named “Gate Charity x Upcycle Artist JR Ocean Protection NFT (Philippines)”. All funds generated from sales will be going directly towards continuing to create a stronger network within the local environmentalist community, bridging different approaches to generating awareness of our natural environment and encouraging eco-consciousness.

Gate Charity x Upcycle Artist JR Ocean Protection NFT (Philippines) collection will feature 15 unique arts created by Filipino local environmentalists and artist Pedro Angco Jr., known as JR who collects, transforms, and repurposes ocean-borne garbage into works of art. This collection has 500 NFTs available to mint. Users can purchase the NFTs on Gate.io for $10 USDT, with all the proceeds from subsequent sales used to encourage society to rethink our approach to trash and recyclables.
