XRP Staking

Gate cooperates with multiple XRP DeFi projects to bring superimposed rewards to users who participate in XRP Staking. The rewards obtained will be converted into XRP, and their value grows over time as the conversion rate adjusts.

The conversion rate in XRP Staking is not fixed and updates every cycle (typically 2 to 3 days) according to the on-chain reward dynamics. The conversion rate during a cycle will remain unchanged. To take advantage of the latest rate, you may redeem after the next cycle starts.

GTXRP is a XRP staking certificate that accumulates return and can be converted to a corresponding amount of XRP at any time. Therefore, its intrinsic value is always equal to the value of convertible XRP. GTXRP is minted by staking XRP. For every XRP staked, a corresponding amount of GTXRP will be minted according to the conversion rate. Upon redemption, GTXRP will be destroyed and the corresponding XRP will be unlocked. Completed through smart contracts that have undergone security audits, both the minting and redemption processes are safe, transparent and traceable on the chain.

Yes. Whether purchased or through staking GTXRP generates the same amount of rewards and can be converted into XRP based on the same conversion rate.

After staking XRP on the Staking page, the XRP balance in your [Unified Account] / [Spot Account] will decrease while the GTXRP balance in that account will increase.
