The company announced on March 13 that it has obtained its DFSA license, allowing it to operate in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). DIFC is a free economic zone in the UAE with its own tax policies and regulatory framework. This announcement comes nearly six months after the company announced its provisional approval for the DFSA license. On October 1, 2024, Ripple revealed that it is working to obtain a DFSA license to launch its digital asset infrastructure in the UAE.
