Clearstream provides BTC and ETH custody services
Clearstream, a branch of Deutsche Börse, has announced that it will provide cryptocurrency payment and custody services to institutional clients by the end of this year. This is a major step for a European financial institution in the digital asset space.
Starting next month, through its subsidiary Crypto Finance, Clearstream will provide services related to Bitcoin and Ethereum to 2,500 customers. This is done through the custodian role of Crypto Finance. More diversified services are being considered, such as supporting various other cryptocurrencies and implementing functions like staking, lending, and brokerage.
