#ETH Ether researchers Malik672 proposed a Decentralization random Block proposal solution to eliminate MEV and address centralization issues. Currently, about 80% of Blocks on Ethereum are proposed by only two entities, which goes against the spirit of Decentralization. Malik672's proposal allows all Ethereum clients (rather than a few builders) to build Blocks using a random Algorithm, thus preventing profit-driven transaction manipulation. The main advantages of this proposal include: completely eliminating MEV at the Block level; decentralizing the power to build Blocks from a few entities to all clients; potentially reducing the Block time from 12 seconds to 6-8 seconds; supporting Ethereum's future Danksharding expansion plan. Compared to the current Proposer-Builder Separation (PBS) mechanism, the new system performs better in terms of Decentralization and eliminating MEV, but slightly lacks in L2 efficiency optimization. For Ethereum, which values fairness, this proposal holds significant value.
