Ripple currency is suddenly crashing by 14%.. and things could worsen
The price of XRP, the third largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, has dropped by approximately 14% over the past 24 hours, according to CoinGecko data.
The cryptocurrency associated with Ripple dropped to $2.58 this morning, hitting the lowest level since January 14th.
Analyst Timothy Sykes says that cryptocurrency markets have fallen since the opening of the weekend due to ongoing trading tensions. He expects that leading indices of the American stock market will also crash on Monday.
According to Sykes, 'trade tensions' pose a major risk to business and the economy.
