If you get liquidated in this round, don't panic, don't immerse yourself in the pain first. Think about whether it's a market problem or your own problem. I bet 90% of it is that you can't control your desires and impulses, which is the common problem for most 'gamblers' in the crypto world. You need to realize that it's not trading that ruined you, it's the gambler's mentality that led you to trading.
1. First ask yourself: Are you really a trader or a gambler?
A trader is disciplined, planned, and responsible for their own operations; a gambler is emotional and bets on 'luck'. To be honest, I was a gambler when I first entered the crypto world. I blindly increased my position without looking at the market, and went all-in at once. In other words, it was all gambling. I felt great when I made profits, but blamed the market when I suffered losses, thinking that the market was irrational. The fact proved that it wasn't the market's fault, but my own fault for getting liquidated.
2. Gambling addiction, is the biggest poison of all trading
When addicted, you completely lose your rationality. You are extremely greedy when the market is booming, and you refuse to cut your losses when it crashes, always wanting to double and then double again. But the market will never indulge gamblers. In fact, it's not that we can't admit that we have a gambling addiction, but that most people are too proud to change. Brother, if you don't change this habit, no matter how much you earn, you will eventually lose it all.
3. How to become a true trader?
• Learn to control your emotions: Trading is never driven by emotions. Don't let greed and fear lead you astray. Make a plan and stick to it. Don't get too excited when it rises, and don't panic when it falls. Following the plan is the key.
• Patience in small position testing: Never go all in. A true trader will break down every transaction into smaller ones. A good trader manages risks instead of gambling on probabilities.
• Learn to take profit and stop loss: The most terrible part of human nature is never being content. When making a profit, one wants to make more, and when losing, refuses to cut losses, until Get Liquidated, then regrets. All of these can be avoided through strict rules for taking profit and stop loss.
• Regular Review: Laugh when you make a profit, curse the market when you lose. This is the mindset of a gambler. A true trader will review after each operation, find out where they went wrong, and improve for the next time.
