Abu Dhabi Institute Holds Open-Source AI Summit



Abu Dhabi Technology Innovative Institute (TII), a global applied science research center, inaugurated the Open-Source Artificial Intelligence (AI) Summit to discuss the future of artificial intelligence, Wednesday (11/27).

The Open-Source AI Summit was attended by more than 300 international AI experts including Meta and Google DeepMind who synergized to discuss the future of artificial intelligence. In addition, this summit also marks Abu Dhabi's efforts to become a center for technological innovation in the world.

"This summit is an important moment to create new innovations in AI computing and see the challenges in the semiconductor industry," said TII Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Najwa Aaraj.

In addition, Prof. Philip Torr from Oxford University also discussed the issue of AI ownership and the long-term benefits of open-source AI models.
