GPU Compute Provider Io.net and Zero1 Labs Partner to Drive Decentralized AI Development
io.net partners with Zero1 Labs to expand access to high-performance, low-cost compute.
The partnership also includes collaboration in various initiatives including developer community and strategic partner ties
io.net, a decentralized platform that offers a Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) for users to buy and sell unused compute power, announced its partnership with Zero1 Labs, which is committed to advancing the development of decentralized AI (DeAI). The partnership will see Zero1 Labs leverage io.net’s GPU compute network to accelerate the training of AI agents for Keymaker, its open marketplace.
As the first inclusive proof-of-stake-based DeAI eco, Zero1 provides developers and users with a simplified, secure and private platform to build DeAI applications. The leverages the Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) scheme to ensure privacy while computing data from encrypted smart contracts
At its core is the Cypher FHE-EVM Layer, enabling secure, privacy-preserving AI computation. Through partnering with io.net, Zero1 will be able to access demand-based, cost-effective GPU compute, making it easier for developers to leverage its tools to build and deploy decentralized AI applications.
io.net To Provide GPU Compute Power To Keymaker
The strategic partnership with io.net will see Zero1’s flagship product, Keymaker, its open multimodal AI marketplace, leverage the global GPU commute services to train its AI agents. The platform provides DeAI developers with pre-built tools that help them streamline their workflow and directly launch their applications on Keymaker
The marketplace, currently in beta, boasts 100 DeAI tools designed to streamline the creation, access and discoverability of DeAI apps. It’s particularly popular with developers seeking to create highly effective on-chain AI agents. Developers can create autonomous agents, optimize and modify agents, and access open datasets to train AI models.
AI agents’ popularity is steadily growing across the Web 3 space, with Zero1 Labs looking forward to leading the space. These agents operate as autonomous s that use artificial intelligence to perform tasks without human intervention. They can be trained to do various tasks such as decoding smart contracts and enhancing trading opportunities
The partnership with io.net will provide developers with enhanced GPU compute and can tap into Zero1’s pre-developed tools for training their AI agents and optimizing their applications
Building A Stronger Decentralized AI Eco
In addition to provisioning its decentralized GPU clusters for Zero1 Labs through IO Cloud, the two entities also announced additional collaborations to advance the development of DeAI applications. The entities will work on various joint initiatives including building a joint developer community and forging strategic partner ties
To foster a stronger DeAI community, Zero1 Labs and io.net will build a developer community through various community initiatives such as hackathons and bounty programs. This is expected to provide platforms to fuel innovation and collaboration across developers while providing them an opportunity to showcase their experiences, further enriching the DeAI community.
Notwithstanding, Zero1 Labs and io.net will engage in a strategic exchange of partner resources, enabling projects building in Zero1’s DeAI eco to have access to high-performance resources and advanced AI expertise from io.net
According to a statement from Zero1 Labs, the partnership with io.net will see the eco boost its growth rate and market share in the DeAI developer market while minimizing hardware and infrastructure costs. Lastly, the partnership will also have an effect in accelerating innovation within the decentralized AI space by empowering builders to launch AI agents that support new on-chain use cases.
