A quick look at the first batch of Sui Grants shortlisted projects in 2024

Of the 12 projects funded this round, eight focus on creating a better development experience for developers, from developing powerful integrated development environments (IDEs) to using zero-knowledge proofs to protect user information.

Sui Dart SDK developed by Mofa Labs

The open source Sui Dart SDK supports the development of mobile, desktop and web applications using the Dart programming language, which is specifically built for cross-platform development. Sui Dart SDK provides a new way for application development to benefit from running on multiple platforms.

ZeroAuth

zkLogin is currently only available through Type SDK, and its applications are mainly limited to Type and Java applications and wallets. ZeroAuth bridges this gap by providing a comprehensive set of SDKs that maintain consistent APIs across multiple platforms, allowing developers to seamlessly integrate zkLogin into their products.

Move Web IDE created by MoveBit

The web-based IDE provides a convenient programming environment and long-term technical support, which are crucial to the development of Sui developer experience. MoveBit is developing a powerful web-based IDE for the Move ecosystem, comparable to the popular Solidity IDE Remix.

Sui Kiosk Indexer provided by Venture23

Venture23’s Sui Kiosk Indexer organizes kiosk data systematically and makes parsing kiosk-related data very simple. Sui Kiosk Indexer supports the growth and usage of Sui Kiosk by providing an API for easy access to kiosk-related data.

cloud

Nimbus is a personalized portfolio tracker that aggregates portfolio data from multiple platforms, including on-chain applications and centralized exchanges, creating a landing page for Sui users to easily track assets and DeFi allocations . Nimbus aims to provide users with deeper insights by developing and displaying metrics and indicators specific to the Sui DeFi ecosystem.

SuiMove Linter

Linter is a tool used to analyze source code and identify programming errors, bugs and style errors. SuiMove Linter is designed specifically for Move source code, giving application builders on Sui the flexibility to enforce these new linter rules as needed.

Automatic liquidity provision rebalancing provided by Turbos Finance

The complexity of manually providing liquidity and concerns about temporary losses during market fluctuations discourage many users from acting as a liquidity provider (LP). Turbos Finance is developing key features to enhance the experience of having LPs through automatic rebalancing and automatic swapping of dollar cost averaging mechanisms.

Suilette

Suilette is a decentralized lottery protocol that funds other Sui-related services, events, grants, and prize pools to support the Sui community.

Anti-cheat system researched by FranklinDAO

FranklinDAO Research’s game anti-cheat system uses self-learning capabilities to modify parameters after a hacker attack or vulnerability exploit occurs to prevent it from happening again in the future. For example, the system will be used to define and enforce sample fairness invariants, such as whether there are duplicate items in the game.

Reclaim

The Reclaim protocol makes https traffic verifiable using zero-knowledge proofs, allowing users to generate verifiable credentials from any of their online user profiles. Web2 user data has so far been elusive to Web3, while on Sui this data will be made available through applications. This opens up opportunities for a new wave of applications in privacy, anti-virus, character proof and understanding corporate mechanisms.

FRNZY

FRNZY’s peer-to-peer marketplace is used for interactive real-time shopping of physical goods and supports user-initiated auctions.

Interverse

This SDK helps game developers build in-game marketplaces, allowing their players to purchase in-game assets from Web3 marketplaces using familiar Web2 gaming methods.
