When did you start truly making money? Not the day you finished learning all the technical indicators, not the day you found some magical strategy, but the day you finally admit: I actually know nothing.
Before you admit this, you’ve been fighting the market.
You think you can predict the next rise or fall, you think you can see through the market maker’s intentions, you think you’re smarter than others.
Every trade you make, you’re trying to prove you’re right.
And the market keeps telling you again and again: you don’t deserve it.
The first step to enlightenment is letting go of the illusion that “I am powerful.”
Admit that you cannot predict the price of the next second, admit that every judgment you make could be wrong, admit that in front of the market, you are as insignificant as dust.
Once you truly accept this, you won’t risk everything on a single trade, you won’t stubbornly hold on through losses, you won’t doubt life because of one loss.
Because you know, losses are not failures; they are tuition fees the market takes after you admit your ignorance.
This tuition fee is paid willingly and gladly.
This cut is the antidote.
