This round of “altcoins are popping off” is blowing up, but Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) aren’t really moving much. I’m genuinely worried this is a fake bull market—this isn’t a proper one. A proper bull market is when BTC pumps first, and then the altcoin stuff kicks in.
And every time the altcoin rally gets triggered, the market tops out. Why not pump BTC instead? The big funds haven’t even come in yet—those pumping the altcoins are small players, the kind who can bail out at any moment. There’s this lingering unease.
