Deep Tide TechFlow News, April 17, according to The Block, Layer 1 blockchain Tempo has launched a privacy solution called Zones, targeting institutional use cases such as payroll, fund management, and payment settlement. Zones provides a private execution environment in the form of a parallel blockchain connected to the Tempo mainnet, with transactions within the zone kept confidential by default, but assets can still interoperate with the Tempo mainnet, other Zones, fiat on/off ramps, and liquidity pools. Tempo states that each Zone will be managed by a trusted entity, with operators able to view activities within the zone and enforce access controls, but not control the underlying assets, and users can withdraw funds locked in the mainnet contract at their own discretion.
