Uber Technologies (UBER) to Acquire Chauffeur Service Platform Blacklane
Uber Technologies (UBER) announced its agreement to acquire Blacklane, a global chauffeur service platform, to expand its premium and executive travel offerings. While financial details were not disclosed, Blacklane was valued at over $547 million in October 2024. The acquisition aligns with Uber’s strategy to diversify its service selection, as stated by CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, and is expected to close by the end of 2026 pending regulatory approvals.
