Breaking News from TechFlow. On April 16, according to CoinDesk, Joe McCann, the founder of the crypto hedge fund Asymmetric, had his fiancée and U.S. internet personality, Ashly Robinson (31), found unconscious at the Zuri Zanzibar luxury resort in Zanzibar on April 9, and she was later pronounced dead. Tanzanian police said that after a heated argument between the two and being separated twice by hotel staff, Robinson died by suicide. However, her family questioned this conclusion and launched a GoFundMe fundraising campaign with a goal of $50,000; it has now exceeded the target. At present, McCann’s passport has been confiscated, and he has been instructed to remain locally while awaiting the results of the forensic post-mortem. Notably, McCann’s Liquid Alpha fund suffered a loss of up to 78% in 2025 and announced liquidation last December.
