Many people ask why $TAO and $ZEC have been weak these past two days.
Actually, this is not too hard to understand if you look at it from the perspective of the capital flow cycle in the altcoin market.
Previously, I emphasized: in the upcoming period, if you choose altcoins, do not prioritize those that have already increased significantly. When a coin has already experienced a substantial rally, most of the short-term expectations are reflected in its price.
Smart money tends to withdraw and look for coins that haven't increased much yet, those that are "lying low" and haven't attracted attention.
• The crypto market always operates based on a rotation mechanism.
• When one group finishes its rise, capital shifts to another group.
• When one narrative cools down, another will take its place.
If you keep holding onto coins that have "run ahead," you'll find yourself in a very familiar situation:
👉 The coin I hold is stagnant or slightly declining.
👉 Other coins in the market are continuously increasing.
Eventually, when almost all altcoins have experienced a rally, you look at your account and realize… you almost have no profit.
This is a cycle that many spot traders fall into.
The mistake isn't that the market doesn't have waves, but that they choose the wrong position in the cycle.
Therefore, instead of chasing coins that have already surged, investors should observe:
• Which coins haven't shown a clear rally yet
• Which coins are accumulating well
• Which industry groups haven't attracted capital yet
In the altcoin market, the order of price increases is just as important as whether the price rises at all.
Understanding the flow of capital will help you avoid the feeling of “the market is rising but I’m still on the sidelines.”
