Wealth, perhaps, is right around the corner

In 2016, I started to go into debt. In just a little over two and a half years, I owed over 300,000—carrying a POS machine back and forth to swipe cards, enduring those miserable days when I couldn’t borrow money.
When I felt lost, I began to move toward Buddhist teachings.
In 2017, I started eating vegetarian. I helped beggars, released animals, distributed porridge to passersby, read Buddhist scriptures, and did the things that Buddhists consider good, accumulating merit.
Perhaps my sincere devotion really moved Heaven; I found the man who pulled me out of the mire—my current husband.
He is a well-rounded all-around talent, someone with relatively deep understanding of traditional Chinese medicine, the I Ching, and Buddhist knowledge.
And my ex-boyfriend was even our matchmaker. My ex told me that he knew a divine person—especially in your line of work—who is very good at calculating things.
I thought, which scammer is it this time?
At the meeting, we only exchanged one round of discussion, and I was already extremely impressed. Later, when we were together, my ex blessed me—finally, I had met a destined good match.
As for my husband, the biggest impact on me is that he made me keep reading the Earth Store Sutra—one chapter every Monday—for 5 years.
The Earth Store Sutra and the Twelve Great Vows of the Medicine Buddha roughly mean: good men and good women, hold and recite with a sincere mind—many merits, no illness, no disasters, and the ground filled with gold.
I read for many years, yet I didn’t know where the ground full of gold was.
During those years of recitation, starting around 2020 for about two years, my debt of over 300,000 yuan was indeed paid off, and I also gradually cashed out from the crypto world—around 5 million. Although what I read wasn’t very thorough.
