"2025 China Patent Survey Report" Released: Enterprise Invention Patent Industrialization Rate Reaches 54.0%
The National Intellectual Property Administration announced today (the 1st) the “2025 China Patent Survey Report.” It shows that China’s patent-creation capability continues to strengthen. The proportion of enterprise invention patents obtained through research and development is 87.4%, up 0.8 percentage points from the previous year and up 2.9 percentage points from 2021. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, this proportion has remained above 80% and has shown a steady upward trend. China’s level of patent industrialization continues to improve: the industrialization rate of enterprise invention patents is 54.0%, up 0.7 percentage points from the previous year (53.3%). During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the industrialization rate of enterprise invention patents has grown steadily. The average revenue amount from the industrialization of enterprise invention patents is 8.72 million yuan per patent. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the average revenue level for patent industrialization has increased steadily. (CCTV News)
