Recently, the group has been talking about AI Agents automatically handling on-chain operations again. To be honest, I’m quite tempted but also a bit scared... It can help me find the most efficient path, smoothly handle batch approvals / cross-chain transactions all at once. These “nervous hand” tasks are really suitable to hand over to it. But when it comes to signing, deciding who to authorize, how much limit to set, or whether the contract is just a phishing shell, I still have to take responsibility myself. No matter how smart the Agent is, it can’t replace my eye for confirmation.
Also, when gas prices spike, I just see it as weight loss. The Agent might be more proactive in “snatching bargains,” but when on-chain congestion or chaos happens, you need to have a fallback: better to cancel and redo than to force through blindly. Recently, the expectations for rate cuts go up and down, and watching the dollar index and risk assets rise and fall together gives me a headache... The more nervous the market, the more I feel automation needs a “human brake.” The group atmosphere is okay; everyone talks about full automation, but in practice, they still keep their confirmation keys in hand.
