Abstract generation in progress

Deep Tide TechFlow news: On April 14, according to Fortune, the payment giant American Express announced this week that it is rolling out a merchant development tool kit for agent-based commerce and promised transaction protection for mistaken purchases generated by AI agents registered on its network. Agent-based commerce refers to payments or economic activities carried out by AI agents on behalf of users; while current applications are limited, it has already drawn interest from major payment institutions. American Express said its existing dispute resolution mechanisms can effectively handle transaction risks brought by AI agents, and that by providing payment credentials and identity verification measures only to verified agents, it can reduce customer disputes and chargebacks. Several payment companies, including Mastercard, Visa, and Stripe, have also recently released related infrastructure. American Express further disclosed that it is exploring stablecoin use in settlement, but it did not reveal specific plans.
