The President and Foreign Minister of Iran appear publicly again on the streets of Tehran
According to the Islamic Republic News Agency of Iran on April 1, on the evening of March 31, Iranian President Pezeshkian and Foreign Minister Aragchi once again appeared publicly, taking part in a gathering in Tehran, the capital, to celebrate Iran Islamic Republic Day on April 1 together with the public.
The report said that Pezeshkian spoke with many members of the public at the gathering, praising the Iranian people’s firm determination and resistance spirit in defending the system and the country, and emphasizing the importance of national unity, social cohesion, and safeguarding the achievements of the Islamic Revolution.
Aragchi said in a media interview that one of the purposes of attending the gathering was to boost public morale. “Seeing these citizens is truly uplifting. I also want to participate in this mass event with them, drawing strength from the people’s unity and cohesion.”
On March 13, rallies in support of Palestine were held in multiple places across Iran. Several senior Iranian officials, including Pezeshkian and Aragchi, also took part in a rally held in Tehran at that time.(Xinhua News Agency)
