As of April 14, 2026, Iran has not ceased uranium enrichment activities. The current situation is a "talk and fight" scenario, with both sides stuck in a serious deadlock over the "pause duration."

🚫 Status: Enrichment activities are still ongoing

Facility operation: Key nuclear facilities such as Natanz and Fordow continue uranium enrichment and have not voluntarily shut down due to negotiations.

Inspection obstacles: The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) remains restricted in inspecting key facilities and cannot confirm the specific flow of highly enriched uranium.

💥 Negotiation deadlock: 5 years vs 20 years

In the recently broken Islamabad talks, both sides had a huge disagreement over the "pause of uranium enrichment" duration:

Iran's offer: Agree to suspend uranium enrichment for up to 5 years, and highly enriched uranium must stay within the country (only commitments to dilution).

U.S. demand: Suspend for 20 years and require highly enriched uranium to be exported abroad.

Result: U.S. President Trump has explicitly rejected Iran's 5-year proposal, and negotiations are currently at a standstill.

⚠️ Risk warning

Military pressure: The U.S. has announced a maritime blockade of Iranian ports, attempting to force Iran to make concessions on nuclear issues through military means.

Future prospects: If negotiations cannot be resumed and differences bridged around April 16, the situation could escalate further. #Gate广场四月发帖挑战
