Head massagers have been coming out in lots of different models lately, but doesn’t it feel hard to know which one you should actually buy? There are so many well-known brands like Ya-man, MYTREX, and WAVEWAVE. And the other day, I tested a few, and I honestly thought that comparing head spas really matters.
There are quite a few differences in things like the ability to loosen tight muscles, how good it feels, and how easy it is to use. For example, Ya-man’s “Needle Head Spa EMS MS33W” uses 6 brushes and an EMS function, so it feels like you’re loosening things with your fingers. The waterproofing is also IPX7, so it’s great that you can use it in the bath. It also scores 4.59 and has a high rating.
On the other hand, if you’re looking for something with a more budget-friendly price, there’s Seven Wave’s “WAVEWAVE EMS Scalp Head SPA.” With a price of 3,980 yen for that kind of quality, isn’t it great value? It’s apparently top-class in terms of how good it feels too. NIPLUX’s “NIPLUX EMS HEAD SPA” is also 12,000 yen, with vibrations at 8,800 times per minute, and I’ve heard that the “gori-gori” feeling is really satisfying.
If you prioritize lightness, there’s “ZOGANKIN Scalp” at 197g, or “EMS head spa” at 211g. It’s important that your hand doesn’t get tired even after using it for a long time. Since all of them have waterproofing of IPX7 or higher, it’s reassuring that no matter which one you choose, you can use it in the bath.
Honestly, when comparing head spas, it depends on whether you care more about loosening tight muscles, how good it feels, or things like lightness, waterproofing, or ease of use. If you like strong stimulation, go for rotary-brush types, and if you want to loosen things gently, choose the slower types. There are many models with 3 levels of speed adjustment, so that’s also a selection point. Most of them also come with an EMS function.
No matter which one you choose, it’s waterproof, and the price range is wide—from the 3,000-yen range up to just under 30,000 yen—so the best approach is to decide based on your budget and what you plan to use it for. By the way, if you want to choose purely based on “how good it feels,” it’s a good idea to look at monitor reviews. Things like “it feels like it’s being loosened in circles with your fingers” or “the gori-gori feeling is the best” are the most realistic descriptions of actual usage.
