Iran says it will use a new generation of missiles to strike U.S. and Israeli targets

An officer of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said on the 6th that they will use a new generation of missiles to strike targets in the United States and Israel.
Iran’s Fars News Agency quoted the officer as saying that Iran has been assembling and producing missiles, while simultaneously advancing the manufacturing of various missile systems, “It is expected that in the coming days, advanced, rarely used long-range missiles will be deployed for new types of attacks.”
The officer said that Iran previously predicted the war would last for some time, and in the past few days mainly used missile models from over a decade ago, “The new generation of missiles has not yet been used.”
The officer did not disclose further details.
According to reports from multiple Iranian media outlets on the 6th, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps spokesperson Naeini said that Iran is equipping new weapons but has not yet used them on a large scale, “The enemy should expect to suffer heavy blows in each wave of offensives.”
